Black Woman Fakes A Hate Crime

SOURCE

A Louisiana woman who said she had been set afire by white supremacists inflicted her injuries herself, police said Tuesday.

Sharmeka Moffitt was found in a city park in Winnsboro, in rural northeastern Louisiana, on Sunday night with burns over 90% of her body. The 20-year-old told police she had been attacked and set ablaze by three men who wrote "KKK" on her car, but Winnsboro Police Chief Lester Thomas said Tuesday afternoon that evidence found on a cigarette lighter and a bottle of charcoal lighter fluid showed "this was not an attack, but a self-inflicted incident."

Investigators released little else at a Tuesday afternoon news conference.

"This has been a very disturbing case for everyone involved," Franklin Parish Sheriff Kevin Cobb said.

Moffitt was in critical but stable condition at a Shreveport hospital Tuesday night, Franklin Parish Sheriff's Deputy Bettye McCoy said.

Detroit Police Chief Suspended After Affair With Fellow Officer

SOURCE

Detroit's top law enforcement officer has been suspended amid allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a subordinate.

Chief Ralph Godbee's affair with Angelica Robinson, an internal affairs officer, emerged after she posted a photo with her service weapon in her mouth on Twitter, after learning Godbee was at a police conference with another woman.

Godbee had other officers locate the 37-year-old and put her under surveillance after seeing her photo.

Her attorney, David Robinson has confirmed that there was a relationship between his client and Chief Godbee, who is married but filed for divorce in August, according to myFoxDetroit.com.

She now refers to herself as Godbee's former lover, and claims he is a 'sex addict,' the news website reports.

'There was a sexual relationship between my client and Godbee,' Robinson told The Associated Press. 'She was trying to end the relationship, and Godbee didn't want to let it go.'

With regards the images his client posted on Twitter, Robinson added; 'Obviously, it raised the implication of suicide.'

'The story is that she was hurt he was at a conference with another woman. Certainly this has created a lot of pressure. Unfairly, her future is a little bit uncertain. She has to suffer the humiliation.'

Angelica Robinson has been reassigned from internal affairs to other duties.

Her gun has since been taken away as she undergoes evaluation, myFoxDetroit.com reports.

This is the second time in two years that a Detroit police chief has been embroiled in scandal.

Godbee's predecessor, Warren Evans, was fired by Mayor Dave Bing in 2010 partly because he was romantically involved with a female officer.

'After learning of the allegations regarding Chief Ralph Godbee, I have placed him on a 30-day suspension pending a full and thorough investigation of this matter,' the mayor said in a statement Tuesday that did not specify the allegations.

Godbee could not be reached Tuesday afternoon for comment, police spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens said.

Angelica Robinson, who is married, told her attorney the relationship with Godbee lasted about a year. Godbee is separated from his wife.

David Robinson said the relationship was consensual.

Without being specific, Robinson said he will approach the city 'and see what their position would be and hopefully (the city will) do the right thing' in regard to his client.

'The chief of police exceeded his professional status,' David Robinson said. 'He's breached the trust of the department.'

Godbee and Bing have been assailed by officers in recent weeks over a 10 percent pay cut and implementation of 12-hour workdays to help cut millions of dollars from the police budget.

Officers complain the cuts and new work rules are too much to take in a city with one of the highest violent crime rates in the country.

The 287 murders committed through Sept. 23 in Detroit are 26 more than at the same point last year.

Godbee was named chief in 2010 after Bing fired Evans.

Evans, a former Wayne County sheriff, was appointed chief by Bing in 2009 and fired after he raised the mayor's ire by taking part in a promotional video for a cable police reality show. Bing later said he also fired Evans because the chief was romantically involved with Lt. Monique Patterson.

Godbee, too, had a romantic relationship with Patterson before she began dating Evans and when she was Godbee's subordinate.

The prior relationship between Godbee and Patterson was disclosed publicly after Godbee was named interim chief, and Bing issued a strongly worded statement after its disclosure saying he wasn't considering firing Godbee for having an affair with a subordinate.

Godbee, 44, joined the department in 1987 and rose to assistant chief in 2007. He later retired only to be reappointed assistant chief in July 2009 when Evans was hired.

Assistant Chief Chester Logan will assume Godbee's responsibilities during the suspension, Bing said.

20 Year Old Black Beats Grandmother In The Head With A Hammer And Attempts To Rape Her

I remember hearing several stories of this same nature but it was in the White suburbs, oh wait, yeah I've never heard a story like that.

SOURCE

A 20-year-old man attempted to rape his grandmother after complaining to her he could not get a girlfriend.

Samuel Dye is alleged to have beaten his grandmother with a hammer before launching the sex attack.

He had complained about not being able to find a girlfriend and told her he was going to 'get some'.

Police said Dye's assault was stopped by his father after he heard the screams of his 61-year-old mother.

He found his son on top of his mother with his trousers pulled down and hitting her in the head with a hammer.

The father pulled his own away and detained him until police arrived.

The alleged attack took place after Dye turned up at his grandmother's home in Chester, South Carolina, at 4am last Thursday.

The woman told police Dye showed up at her home with a hammer in his hand and began complaining about not having a girlfriend. He said he was going to 'get some'.

RAMZPAUL: Happy Trayvon Martin Day!

The Malcolm X High elementary government school has dedicated May 25th as Trayvon Martin's Day. During this day the students learn about social justice with skittles and tea in a weird pseudo-religious communion.

Report Shows Trayvon (@no_limit_nigga) Had Scrapes On His Knuckles, Zimmerman Had A Broken Nose

SANFORD, Fla. —

WFTV has confirmed that autopsy results show 17-year-old Trayvon Martin had injuries to his knuckles when he died.

The information could support George Zimmerman's claim that Martin beat him up before Zimmerman shot and killed him.

The autopsy results come as Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O’Mara continues to go over other evidence in the case.

O’Mara wouldn't comment on the autopsy evidence, but WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said it's better for the defense than it is for the prosecution.

WFTV has learned that the medical examiner found two injuries on Martin’s body: The fatal gunshot wound and broken skin on his knuckles.

When you compare Trayvon’s non-fatal injury with Zimmerman's bloody head wounds, the autopsy evidence is better for the defense, Sheaffer said.

“It goes along with Zimmerman's story that he acted in self-defense, because he was getting beaten up by Trayvon Martin,” Sheaffer said.

The injury to Martin’s knuckle also fits with Zimmerman's story that before he shot and killed Martin, Martin had broken his nose and knocked him to the ground, slamming his head on the sidewalk.

But Sheaffer said there could be another explanation for Martin's knuckle injury.

“It could be consistent with Trayvon either trying to get away or defend himself,” Sheaffer said.

Zimmerman shot and killed the unarmed teenager almost three months ago after calling 911 to report the teenager was acting suspiciously.

Zimmerman said Martin threw the first punch and that he opened fire in self-defense after his screams for help went unanswered.

The FBI was not able to determine whether it was Zimmerman or Trayvon who could be heard crying out for help in 911 calls.

The defense is trying to decide what evidence it wants a judge to keep confidential before the media gets a chance to see it, but WFTV is being told that could happen in the next week or so.

In the meantime, there’s new information surfacing about Zimmerman.

ABC News said it has obtained Zimmerman's medical report from the day after the killing. According to ABC, the report shows Zimmerman had a broken nose and abrasions on the back of his head.

Suspect: I Beat Up White Man Because I Am Mad About Trayvon Martin Case

Maywood, Ill. - Alton L. Hayes III, a west suburban man charged with a hate crime, told police he was so upset about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida that he beat up a white man early Tuesday.

Hayes and a 15-year-old Chicago boy walked up behind the 19-year-old man victim and pinned his arms to his side, police said. Hayes, 18, then picked up a large tree branch, pointed it at the man and said, “Empty your pockets, white boy.”

The two allegedly rifled through the victim’s pockets, then threw him to the ground and punched him “numerous times” in the head and back before running away, police said. Hayes and the boy are black; the victim is white.

After being arrested, Hayes told police he was upset by the Trayvon Martin case and beat the man up because he was white, Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said, citing court records.

Martin, 17, was fatally shot Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla., by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, who was charged April 11 with second-degree murder. Zimmerman is Hispanic, while Martin was black.

Hayes, 18 of the 1200 block of North Woodbine Avenue in Oak Park, was charged with attempted robbery, aggravated battery and a hate crime, all felonies, Oak Park police Detective Cmdr. Ladon Reynolds said.

Hayes was ordered held on $80,000 bond and remained in the Cook County Jail on Friday. He will next appear in court May 11. The boy was referred to juvenile court.

Black Philly Teens Yell Slurs And Pull Whites Out Of Cab And Beat Them, Not Charged With Hate Crime

When is a hate crime not a hate crime? When the skin color of the villain(s) and victim(s) doesn’t fit the paradigm that prompted the creation of hate crime laws in the first place.

Our friend Stephanie Farr of philly.com is back with the latest development in what she initially reported as “a horrific assault in Center City” in which “three teenagers who were spouting racial slurs pulled a man out of a cab to beat him.”
This time reporter Farr buries the lede only until the second paragraph, which follows:
The teens, who are black, were not charged with hate crimes because there was no evidence that the assault had been motivated by the race of the victims, who are white, said Tasha Jamerson, D.A. spokeswoman. Just shouting racial epithets during the commission of a crime doesn't rise to the level of ethnic intimidation, she said.
Jamerson is quoted as saying, "They just didn't have that in this case. If they had somebody who, two blocks before, heard them say, 'We're going to beat somebody up because they're white, brown or purple,' it might be different."
But the first hate-crime legislation in the “modern era,” Section 249 of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, contains no such stipulation. In fact, the language of the law is pretty broad, covering “offenses involving actual or perceived race, color, religion, or national origin” and specifying punishment for
[w]hoever, whether or not acting under color of law, willfully causes bodily injury to any person or, through the use of fire, a firearm, a dangerous weapon, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to any person, because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, or national origin of any person.
It would appear that the crime—in which the perpetrators hurled “racially derogatory names” at the cabbie and passenger and “punched … in the face, kicked … and threw a liquid” on the driver—meet the criteria for a hate enhancement as spelled out in the law.

Black Suspects Charged In Lynching, "May" Face Hate Crime Charges

Bet nobody has heard of this black on White attack either, meanwhile trayvon is a household name....

On March 17th, three white men were leaving an Applebees restaurant after midnight in Seneca, South Carolina. One of the men, Terry Moore, 32, of Macon County, NC, went to the bathroom while his two friends went straight to their car. When Moore walked to the car alone, he encountered between 15 and 20 black men. The men allegedly yelled racial slurs at him like "tree honkey" and "cracker," then brutally attacked him.

Moore's friends say that he was zapped with a tazer and then stomped on after he fell to the crowd. The victim suffered several serious head injuries including a fractured eye socket and a dislocated jaw.

The attack ended when Moore's friends rushed to his aid. The victim is from out of town and did not know any of the attackers.

Seneca police, working with the county sheriff's department and SLED, has apprehended six of the suspects. They are facing state charges for assault and battery by a mob, which is also more commonly known as second degree lynching in South Carolina. The official name of the statute was changed in 2010 over complaints by black racial activists that the term "lynching" was offensive to black people. The statute was originally passed in 1951 at the request of the NAACP.

Yesterday, March 28th, Seneca Police Chief John Covington released a statement saying he believes the attack was racially motivated. He has forwarded the case to the FBI for possible Federal hate crime charges. South Carolina's anti-lynching law allows for judges to give harsher sentences when an assault is part of a mob attack.
Those charged are Teryn L Robinson, 18; Tray Devon Holland, 19; Justin Dimon Alexander, 20; Derick Lee Williams, 22; Kino Martinez Jones, 25; and Montrez Obrian Jones, 22.

Last June prosecutors charged four suspects in the attack on Carter Strange with second degree lynching. Carter Strange was assaulted at random by eight young black males in the Five Points area of Columbia, SC. He barely survived the attack. The assault is believed to have been motivated purely by racial hatred.

NBC "Apologizes" For Edited Zimmerman Phone Call

 SOURCE

"The Washington Post reports that NBC has completed its investigation into the Today show's mishandling of the police dispatcher's conversation with George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin case with a finding of error, plus an apology. The apology addresses the show's failure to accurately abridge the conversation between Zimmerman and the dispatcher in this high-profile case. This is how the program portrayed a segment of that conversation: Zimmerman: 'This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black' Here what was actually said: Zimmerman: 'This guy looks like he's up to no good. Or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about.' Dispatcher: 'OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?' Zimmerman: 'He looks black.' In an appearance on Fox News's Hannity, Brent Bozell, president of the conservative Media Research Center, called this omission on the part of Today an 'all-out falsehood' — not just a distortion or misrepresentation. 'On the good front, [NBC] acknowledges the mistake and apologizes to viewers for the bad editing. It's a forthright correction and spares us any excuses about the faulty portrayal. On the bad front, the statement is skimpy on the details on just how the mistake unfolded,' writes Erik Wemple. 'In light of all that's happened, Zimmerman may be a tough person for a news network to apologize to, but that's just the point: Apologies are hard.'"

Does Obama Imagine Bob and Nancy Strait as His Parents?

Nancy and Bob Strait

Here’s a story you won’t hear about in the mainstream media.
Bob Strait, 90 a veteran of the 101st Airborne, was married to his wife Nancy, 85, for 65 years.

A few days ago, their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma was invaded by Tyrone Dale David Woodfork, 20, a black thug armed with a BB gun.
Tyrone beat the aged couple and raped Nancy to death.

Tyrone Dale David Woodfork

Our post-racial President has made no statement about this outrage.
And except for the local media in Oklahoma, no one has noticed.

Instead, all the self-righteous attention is on black victim Trayvon Martin, and the demonized George Zimmerman, described by the NY Times as a “white Hispanic” a racial classification of which I have never heard.

George Zimmerman will be charged with a hate crime. Again, leave it to liberals to invent a victim hierarchy based on race.

Let me state the obvious: The Straits are not the victims of a hate crime, they don’t even exist and count for nothing in the cynical calculus that animates the mainstream media and the politicians who feed on politically correct corpses.

As for President Obama, you can be sure he does not imagine Bob or Nancy Strait as his parents.

A fund has been set up at Arvest Bank to help the family cover funeral expenses for Nancy Strait and rehabilitation for Bob Strait. The fund is called the Nancy Strait and Bob Strait Support Trust.

Hoodie-Wearing Blacks Go On Shooting Spree In Bobby Rush's Chicago District

Former Black Panther Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) made quite a fuss when he donned a "hoodie" during a speech in the U.S. House of Representatives until he was escorted out. At the time, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) "applauded his courage" for doing so. Meanwhile, back home in Rush's district, two men wearing hooded sweatshirts, or "hoodies," were the shooters in an incident that left one dead and five injured.

In fact, during a span of six-hours Thursday night, 13 people were shot, leaving two dead in Chicago. It would seem it takes more courage to simply walk down the street in Rush's district than it does to wear a hooded sweatshirt in the House of Representatives by way of a stunt in a bizarre tribute to a young man shot and killed in Florida during a shooting incident still under investigation.

At least two people were killed and 11 others wounded in violence across Chicago overnight, most of the victims from just two shootings on the West and South sides, according to police.

Suspects were being questioned in one of the shootings, the killing of a man near his home on the Far South Side, officials said.

The worst shooting occurred around 6 p.m. Thursday when two men in hooded sweatshirts opened fire inside a convenience store in the 1400 block of West 79th Street in the Gresham neighborhood, police said.
One man was killed and five others were wounded. The victims ranged in age from 16 to 24.

The gunmen fled in an SUV and police continued searching for them this morning.

About four hours later, four people were standing in a parking lot in the 4100 block of West Roosevelt Road when a black car drove up and gunfire rang out.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the arm, a second man the same age was shot in the leg, a 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 36-year-old man was shot in the thigh, police said. They were all taken by a friend to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

The gunman's car fled west on Roosevelt Road and north on Keeler Avenue, police said.

Other shootings:

-- A 31-year-old man was shot and killed across the street from his home on 113th Place between State Street and South Michigan Avenue, police said. David Gulley, 31, was pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital about 5:10 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

Calumet District officers saw the shooting and brought several people in for questioning, police said. Up to three guns were recovered, police said. The people were still being questioned as of 5 a.m. today, police said.

-- A 24-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in the 11800 block of South Ashland Avenue about 5 p.m. on the Far South Side, police said. He was walking down the street when two people approached on foot and opened fire, police said.

He was stable Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said. No one was in custody this morning.

-- About 10:15 p.m., a man in his 30s was shot in the leg in the 13100 block of South Ellis Avenue. He was taken to Metro South Medical Center in Blue Island, police said.

The man told police he heard shots and felt pain.
