Want To Reduce Your Property Taxes?

There is a reason why the 10th Plank of the Communist Manifesto is

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.

It is vital for a government to own all the land and therefore make you a serf in your own country. This is achieved many ways but primarily through property taxes. If you have never done it before, stop and think about it. If you fail to pay your property taxes to the government they take the land away literally at gun point. So explain to me how you actually own the land. You rent the land from the government and as long as you do what they require they leave you alone, pretty much like paying "protection money" to the mafia.

I came across this article and would like to share it with everyone so hopefully you reduce the amount of money that they steal from your pockets.

I've thought about this often Max, and yeah I agree property taxes are essentially nothing but "rent" payment to the government. In point of fact I have heard business owners say that very thing and think nothing of it.

I don't think there is much we can do about it except nod our heads and smile, but we, the people, should consider building up our own private cooperatives that mimic certain "services" the government provides so that we will reduce any dependency on them and dry up their resources.

We should start by home schooling and emptying the "public institutions" of its fodder for commie indoctrination.

In the city of Vancouver, the assessor has actually stated that he will not lower property values. He said property owners would have to bring suit before he re-assessed anything.

Thankfully I don't live within the city limits.
Absolutely ridiculous although sadly not surprising.

When my taxes came out last year I called them up and asked them about it they gave their standard answer "everyone has to pay their fair share" I said then how come someone in a mobile home who blows their money on beer and lotto tickets pays less than 100$ in many cases while I pay over $1600, do I use more services than that guy? I said how is that "fair" by any stretch of the imagination.

Plus taxes for roads are taken directly at the pump (to the tune of 30% of the gas price) So I said essentially I am paying for other peoples kids to go to school. I asked if I could opt out of fire and police "protection" since I have no use for those services and think it is wrong they force me to pay them against my will.

I said I know you personally don't have the power to change this but can you at least agree person to person that the current system makes no sense?

I might have had better luck trying to talk to a tree than this numbskull, clearly logic wasn't his strong suit which I'm sure is why he relies on the government for work.
Glad I don't live in the "couve" anymore.
Interesting post, I agree. The government is slowly slipping their tentacles in every aspect of our life. Where will the madness stop?
