Find Speed Traps In Your Area

I came across this website that has user generated maps of speedtraps and wanted to share it with everyone.

The website is

trapster.com

There you will find apps for your smart phone where you can report speedtraps while driving, or browse the map in the link above to find out where users have found traps in your area.

If we can save each other money while denying the state it's tribute, then it's a win win.

Excellent! I just looked and thought where I am , wouldn;t be listed, but yes, a known trap was listed, it says expired, but that section of the road that goes from 80 kmph to 30 DOES get watched from time to time, but the spot where cops woud park was up the road a bit and on the grass to the side where they are not easily seen at first, unless that is an additional car.
Hey Les,

I have found it to be very accurate as well. I tried to use it yesterday on my phone when I saw 2 cops sitting on the side of the road, so I reported it and get about 1/2 mile down the road and realize that they were waiting to take over a funeral procession as it went into their county :) So much for my speed trap.

Hope it ends up saving us some money, have a good one.
