Most people have heard this powerful quote but few have heard the rest of the speech. It is eerie how similar the circumstances were over 200 years ago and today. This speech could have easily been given in every town hall meeting throughout our country yesterday. This is very powerful and moving, the strength and tenacity these men had repeatedly leave me in awe. Here is the speech to convince the meeting of Virginia delegates to join the American Revolution, delivered on March 23, 1775
