I don't blame him.
When you are 75 would you want to be groped by the TSA twice per week? Would you want to spend time with your many children and grandchildren or in the District of Criminals?
He is massively popular in his Texas district, he won nearly 90% of the vote in his last election, and I thank those people, without them many of us might not even know who Ron Paul is. Now though they have redrawn his district to include non-Whites making his reelection more difficult, although with 90% you have breathing room.
Let's face it, Dr. Paul has served his country for the last 30 years, he doesn't do it for the money, or the fame, or the power. He is a low key guy who is passionate about spreading his knowledge.
I believe that Dr. Paul has made the Founders of this country proud, and that is something not many people can say. I hope Dr. Paul is in the White House in 2012, if not I hope he is taking time to do things that he wants to do.
