Ron Paul Wins CPAC Straw Poll

As a supporter of Dr. Pauls during his 2008 run, I learned not to put to much stock in polls but it certainly is an encouraging result.

Here are the official results:

Texas Rep. Ron Paul - 31 percent
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney -- 22 percent
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin -- 7 percent
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty - 6 percent
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich - 4 percent
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee -- 4 percent
Indiana Rep. Mike Pence - 5 percent
South Dakota Sen. John Thune -- 2 percent
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels -- 2 percent
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum -- 2 percent
Mississippi Gov. Hailey Barbour - 1 percent
Other - 5 percent
Undecided - 6 percent

I truthfully wish I could feel trustful towards either of the Pauls, Max. We need some new blood from outside of traditional sources who have charisma. I don't want to waste time or effort on people who have shown loyalty to a system which they should oppose wholeheartedly. Here is a link to another matter you may want to check out. Hope you're doing fine.

Nice to hear from you Flanders,

I basically agree about Ron Paul, however at this point in time I don't give him press because I think there is a political solution to the US's problems, but rather a Ron Paul campaign is sure to turn a lot of people on to issues that they previously were not aware. I know in my own case Dr. Paul's 08 campaign was an important part of me waking up more and more and learning new things and especially sharing ideas with others.

Ron Paul isn't perfect, some have made the case that he is controlled opposition, which I doubt, but don't totally rule out, but as I said a Ron Paul campaign would help more people begin the slow process of waking up to the Truth.

Thanks for the link, take care.
