It only takes a cursory glance at hollywood to notice the filth that they put out on a continual basis. For the sake of time, I won't list specific movies, but just a quick read of their plots will verify the above statement. Regular readers of this blog already know who runs hollywood only with that knowledge can you begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together. The purpose of this post isn't to expose who controls the media which I have done multiple times already but rather to ask why any thinking person would support such an institution.
Specifically this post is more directed towards those that recognize the degenerate nature of hollywood yet still go see other movies even those that are rated G or PG. They rationalize it by saying that they aren't supporting the filth and encouraging more family friendly movies sort of voting with your wallet.
The above links will prove that there is an extremely small number of companies who control every media outlet which includes movies. This means that while it may appear that say Company A puts out wholesome movies and Company B puts out garbage you only choose to support A but what most fail to realize is that both A and B are owned by Company C that profits either way.
What decent person would patronize a nice restaurant if out back was a crackhouse and the owner ran both? People would say forget it I'll take my money and spend it elsewhere and won't partake in this evil.
However people still go to movies and the analogy holds true. They don't even think twice about it and some even think they are doing good by "promoting family friendly movies".
I encourage people to think about things from all angles not just blindly go through life following what someone tells you.
Like Henry Ford said "Thinking is probably the hardest work there is, which is why so few engage in it".
I will leave you with a quote that sums up my feelings on the subject and hopefully gives pause to the Christian who supports hollywood.
